Mission Statement
NCFI is dedicated to driving a cultural and systemic shift that transforms child welfare systems to honor family integrity, prevent unnecessary family separation, and empower children and families to thrive.
The Problem We Address
Too many children experience unnecessary separation from their families and repeated placement within foster care systems that were meant to protect them. For many, that instability creates lasting trauma that can affect emotional development, education, and long-term well-being.
Research continues to show strong links between foster care disruption, homelessness, and trafficking vulnerability. Children who lose safe family connections often face increased risk of exploitation before anyone recognizes the warning signs.
The Coalition for Family Integrity focuses on identifying the systemic failures that place children at risk and advancing practical solutions that prevent harm before it occurs.

The Coalition for Family Integrity is a national alliance working at the intersection of child welfare reform and trafficking prevention. We bring together organizations, professionals, and advocates who believe stronger families are the foundation of safer communities.
